Juanita Vallejo, Registered Psychotherapist
MY PASSION
My passion as a therapist comes from understanding that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges and transformations.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist holding a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Criminology from Western University. I am passionate about walking alongside teens and adults as you take steps toward healing, growth, strength, and greater self-understanding.
I value authentic connection and do my best to create a therapeutic space that is inclusive, safe, and empowering. I am honoured to support individuals and families as you build resilience, challenge yourself, and move toward healing and growth.
WHO I WORK WITH
I offer support to teens and adults navigating a wide range of emotional experiences and life transitions.
With teens, I offer a space to explore identity, relationships, and emotions without judgment. With adults, I help unpack the patterns and experiences that shape us—so we can begin to shift, heal, and thrive. Whether you or your teen are navigating big emotions, life transitions, past experiences, or just need a space to feel understood, I am here to walk alongside you.
MY APPROACH
My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and connection. I believe that therapy should be a space where you feel respected, understood, and gently challenged in a way that aligns with your values and unique journey.
Valuing the courage it takes to engage in therapy, I appreciative being able to witness the resilience of those I work with.
Drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities—including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused approach, Attachment-based approaches, and Circle of Security- I create a personalized approach that fits your unique and individual needs. I value collaboration in shaping a process that feels meaningful and right for you.
